It sounds like a fantastic job pay wise. It takes a minimum of two years with connections to receive the proper licensing paperwork. I searched the Internet and there were no obvious red flags. The market is saturated and the students have limited funds due to the economy. They may know something that the other schools do not.
God knows the students could use better quality. Too many of the present schools and "consulting" firms offer little, promise the world and take the families savings.
I know of many students whose family spent $10,000 and more only to secure a 5-6 million Dong a month salary. Another pipedream they sell is that the student can work "abroad" for a foreign company. This rarely happens unless it is a service position on a cruise ship.
Asian culture often invests the family's savings, hopes and dreams into their children's education. I know of one student whose family HIDE him from the neighbors and family after he came back from his studies in Australia. I am not joking, he had too sneak into his house late at night and leave before sunrise. They were too ashamed that he did not have a foreign job. |
