|
|
I need to get my degrees attested from the Saudi Cultural Mission in the US as soon as possible, within the next 10 days. I called http://diranvisa.com and they charge $250 per degree, that would mean $500 for me. Plus of course the courier charges, which would easily go over $200. $250 to get a stamp? That's a load of crap .
Anybody know of any other reliable companies that provide this service for cheaper? I am sure I can find many on the web, but I need personal recommendations.
Thanks. |

Are you presently in the US or in KSA? Do you have all the other required documents and paperwork ready? |

I am in Saudi. Other documents required are passport and iqama copies, and transcripts. So basically other documents are ready.
Just need a recommendation for a company that can do it for cheaper than $250 per degree. |

I can certainly empathize with you about the costs. I don't know of an inexpensive service, if one even exists. However, have you considered sending the documents yourself by courier directly to the SACM and once processed, having them returned via the same way? Is this doable? |

What exactly do you need to have this done?
**Are we talking a notarized copy of your degree, sent to the state department for verification and then sent to the Saudi Mission?
Or is there another process needed? ... |

As I said, I need to get my US degrees attested/verified/authenticated by the SACM in Virginia. |

I don't know the answer to your question, but I'd like to ask a question myself. Is it normally enough to get your degree attested, or do you also have to get your transcripts attested (both for the purposes of visa, and for employers in general) ? |

For the attestation of the degrees, one of the documents required by the SACM is an official transcript. I am not sure if they will actually attest the transcript or not, but they do need it to attest the degree. |

Found one:
http://www.americanvisadc.com
$75 for the 1st degree and $25 for the 2nd one, so it will cost me just $100 as opposed to $500 with the one in my OP. |
