|
|
Hi all
I'm new to all of this. I'm Steve, 27. Born and Lived in London most my life, I got married to my beautiful wife last year. She still stuck in Rostov-on-Don, in Russia.
I am thinking of all options, including moving out to Russia to be with her. I'm seriously considering teaching English as a foreign language. Could anyone give me some advice on what could be a good starter course and with which organisation? I've seen so many on the net but I just become completely lost with most of this. I know you can earn more in the bigger cities in Russia but accommodation is already sorted so we don't need to worry about moving to a bigger city, plus I love Rostov very much, does anyone know any teachers, trainers, classes who would be able to assist me with this?
Thanks in advance. |

Get a CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL. Universally accepted.
That, combined with a degree and you are golden.
If you are legally married (to add to the CELTA and degree) it also opens up all of Asia as well as Rostov (and the rest of Russia and Europe) for decent work and the ability to take your wife with you with a minimum of hassle.

And then for more details about teaching in Russia, I would suggest moving to the Russia/CIS forum, where you should be able to find out more and as necessary get more support. |
