| There is a lot of truth in the previous comment. However, I'd add that a lot of shock and discomfort can be alleviated by a nice little bottle of Beluga vodka, a solid, improving book, by Tolstoy maybe, and a few symphonies by Borodin or Mahler. |

Maureen Lipman character. I'm sure she said "wouldn't you simply die..." and then tried to top herself. Poor darling.
But yes, a bottle of something, some great music, a good book ... good company - all these help immeasurably to mitigate the dismal human condition. |
