T So how would you know if you like x or not?! You have no experience of it.

S I just know I don't like it!

The other day I was teaching weather collocations such as "heavy rain" or "light fog." I asked the students if they knew any (they were all pretty low level) and one guys said "Fvcking hot." I wasn't sure that I heard what I heard, so he repeated "Fvcking hot, fvking cold, fvcking humid." He was right, I guess...

This made my day today...

I had the students ask each other favors, out of Interchange 3- so Mr. T asked Mr. I., could you drive me to the airport after the lesson? whereupon Mr. I., without missing a beat replied, I'm sorry, I have to drink.

Laughing Too accurate! That sounds like the climate where I used to live ... Tell your student that I think he's fvking awesome. Wink

seen on a five year olds shirt "f***** freezing!", it was a shirt with Canada flags on it, perfect fit for a five year old!! I was very shocked...so she didnt say this, but her shirt did!
