I'm surprised that there's been no mention of the shooting at SDT Riyadh on Wed. 12/3/14.
Apparently a teacher (Technical), British, was shot by a disgruntled student.
The teacher is now out of ICU. The shooter was apprehended. |

Probably because no one's heard or read about it. This story doesn't seem to have been posted in any of the country's online news sites. What's your source? |

I know someone who works for BAE who showed me a company sms referring to the incident. I then spoke to someone else who works for SDT who confirmed it. |

That was in 2003---11 years ago. This new alleged incident doesn't appear to have made the news. |

No, that particular fatal shooting was in 2003; Robert Dent, a BAE employee, was the victim in that incident.

That's attempted murder. You can have your head removed for that here, can't you? Isn't there a legal system in place where the victim has a say in whether or not the perpetrator can or can't lose his head? I would say remove it at once and set an example for anyone else who has similar intentions. |

If you're looking at the date/time in the top right of the page, that is the current date/time, not when the story was posted. |

Why become a part of a particular aspect of a system that is botched and bungled? |

How bizarre that that old article comes up from the search and the website gives zero indication of when it was originally printed. What a wonderful way to spread rumors and fallacies...

If I were that teacher, in ICU because a disgruntled student shot me, I would want nothing more than swift justice for him. Sick of seeing people think they can simply do what they want because they feel entitled, have money, are spoiled. The man is trying to make his way through life, trying to make a living, and his student tried to kill him. I wouldn't be surprised if his student IS spoiled, thinking he can get whatever he wants just because he has money. Make an example out of him. |
