What happens If you don't have a release letter from previous employer , but only have exit visa. Does this cause any problems when applying for a Visa again?. |

No, no problems if you left on a final exit visa. |

Not as simple as that. Some employers still ask for one. The legal page in the Arab News gave the puzzling explanation - "The No Objection Certificate is no longer a legal requirement but may be an administrative requirement." Go figure - and remember your copy of "Alice in Wonderland". |

At least get a signed certificate of employment from your current employer before you leave KSA. It also verifies your work experience for future employment. |

Yes, I did leave on a final exit visa , but I didn't even get my iqama left after only 24 days on the job. I don't really have experience with the employer didn't even teach a single lesson. Can someone send me a link to where it mentions its not a requirement anymore please?. Thanks all for your input. |

That's a different situation since you left during the probationary period. Don't sweat it. However, it might be best to leave that employer off your CV. You don't want prospective employers wondering why you left early into your contract.
Anyway... No objection certificates (NOC) stopped being a common requirement 4+ years ago.
See the following:
What exactly is an NOC?
Letter Of No Objection
How do I resign?
However, the exception is likely positions that require some level of security clearance as in:
Article 83 of the Saudi Labor Law:
"If the work assigned to the worker allows him to get acquainted with the employer's customers, or to have access to his business secrets, the employer may require the worker in the contract not to compete with him or reveal his secrets upon expiration of the contract. For this condition to be valid, it shall be in writing and specific in terms of time, place and type of work and to the extent required to protect the legitimate interests of the employer. In all cases, the duration of such agreement shall not exceed two years from the date of termination of the relationship between the two parties."
On a related note...
Per Article 53:
"If the worker is subject to a probation period, the same shall be expressly stated and clearly indicated in the work contract. Such probation period shall not exceed ninety days, exclusive of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays and sick leaves. Each party shall have the right to terminate the contract during this period, unless the contract embodies a clause giving the right to terminate the contract to only one of them."
Also, Article 64:
"Upon expiration of the work contract, the employer shall be required to:
(1) Give the worker, upon his request and free of charge, a certificate of work experience, indicating date of his employment, date of end of work, his profession, and the last wage received. If the certificate contains any remarks that are prejudicial to the worker's reputation or likely to limit his employment chances, the reasons shall be given." . |

Where did you work at briefly to leave after 24 days? If you didn't teach, what did you do? |
