				| Howdy all.
Well, the good news is that I finally get to make a return trip to Istanbul! I can't wait. The Theodosian Walls and the Golden Gate beckon.

The bad news - I've never really been to Istanbul as a tourist
Hehe, I think I still have the keys to my old flat, but I don't think that'd go over so well. Any recommendations for moderately priced (dare I say cheap) AND clean places? In Sultanahmet?
If anyone's going to be around next week, let me know.

				| I usually prefer to stay at the hostels in Sultanahmet. Prices range anywhere from 6 to 20 milyon (depending on hostel, your age, the attitude of the person at the desk, etc.) and the rooms are clean - in most cases.
 Enjoy.

				| Thanks sweetpea!
Yes, I'll definitely be staying in Sultanahmet. I thought about going a step above the hostels, but the price is hard to beat.

In the past, I've benefited only from some of their rooftop bars - great views of the Marmara. Any specific hostels you'd recommend...I'm getting older, so private room private bath does have its appeal!
