Has anybody worked in Schutz American school in Alexandria and if so can you let me know how it is? I have seen in the past job offers in the school's website. Again thanks for the information. |

Hello there,
I was hoping if someone could give me more information about NAC in all terms, that is: environment, working hours, career development, salary and benefits. I am located in Alexandria, is it appropriate to ask them for a reimbursement when they mention a face-to-face interview? You know, I have been spending a lot of money travelling back and forth from Alexandria to Cairo for interviews and I think it's not fair for me to pay all this when most schools cannot afford to pay a decent salary and accommodation for a single, hard-working teacher.
Thanks in advance,

I have a question about Schutz American School...I am from the States but currently living in Alexandria and I'm looking for a teaching position.
Do I need to be a U.S certified teacher to work there? If yes, then what about teaching assistants? Do they need that too? |

You do have to be certified to teach, but teachers' assistants aren't usually certified. However, assistants get local pay which I hear is not much. |
