Just wondered if any of our contributers had tried this little activity .If so ,can you give me a bit of info ? Does it involve writing notes or are there forms with boxes that can be obtained from a website somewhere .

Thanks Ollie

When peer observing, I used to take personal notes on procedure, classroom management, instructions, feedback, etc. I now observe lessons with a different purpose and give feedback at the end, but my notes are pretty much along the same lines. I also need to see a detailed lesson plan.
Schools with a well organised educational system will provide teachers with "forms with boxes", and require them to observe each other for certain aspects (e.g. just for monitoring).
