Hi,
I'm a Greek Cypriot currently studying in the UK interested in teaching English in Thailand from September. I've been in Thailand once as a tourist.
-Are there any areas, e.g. in Bangkok I should NOT enter?
-Are prostitutes areas dangerous (so I shouldn't have some...adult fun with these ladies)?
-What should I be aware of in order to not to be 'out of context'? E.g. is there soemthing you would suggest in the case of an interview while job seeking?
Thanks!!! |

Thanks for the reply. I just wondered if I should worry about living in a country that is different that what I'm used to so dangers appear in different areas and in different ways, but I guess there is no such issue. Thanks again! |

My personal experience has been that Asia - and Thailand - and yes, even Bangkok are much safer than my home town in my home country.
That said, follow Ken's advice above. Just because you are on vacation or new somewhere - don't forget to use your head. |
