I am thinking of making a short side trip to the capital and am curious as to where the most concentrated display of art and artists studios would be. I would not necessarily be thinking of conventional galleries but artist run cooperative galleries, cutting edge galleries etc.

Is Colonia Roma the place? Any other suggestions?

Roma and Condesa are probably your best bets, though the Zocalo might be the spot too. If you let me run the question by my brother-in-law, I can get you gallery names.

Please do, Guy. I am a bit surprised but I am getting quite a strong response from galleries toward my work here in Mexico.

I am also very fascinated with what I am seeing here much more than what I have seen stateside.

Just a tangent, but if you poke around on the net for American contacts in San Miguel de Allende, you might get some DF tips.
