Anyone know anything about it?!i like the idea of a french-speaking country(i want to improve my french) in a south american climate.as its a small country, there's less publicity and mention of it here.just wondering if anyone had working experience there?or even just travelled through?thanks!

Like the other DOMs, French Guiana is also an overseas region of France. As a part of France, French Guiana is in the European Union, and its currency is the euro."

Unless you have EU citizenship, and already have a good command of the French language, I think it would be extremely difficult to work there. Also, much of the "French" most people speak there is a patois, like in Haiti.
