The fact that you wrote "Engrish" suggests to me that you don't consider your students to be serious, or that you don't consider yourself to need much in the way of resources. Makes me wonder why you would ask about becoming a better teacher.

Networking with more experienced teachers. Anything about applied linguistics and foreign teaching methodology... then evaluate what you read to determine what is useful and what is BS (lots of BS written in these fields because they are constantly in flux)
Find an aspect about teaching you like best and become an expert in it.. gives you something to trade when you network (mine is CALL and autonomous language learning)
Short answer, there is no one book that will do it for you.
Another way to find stuff to read is use a site like delicious.com and put in tags like language and education to find interesting articles and websites. |
