The ministry seems to be trying to improve English teaching by recruiting qts teachers as advisors but I see this is coming through agencies rather than moe direct. The salary is not so high. I wonder how much cut the agencies are getting and why the moe don't hire direct. They might then get more takers.

What is your opinion on this kind of job? How good/bad are Malaysian teachers? Would they take kindly to advice?

Many well known agencies are recruiting for teacher trainers. Salaries around RM8-9K. Up to 12K for team leaders. Benefits range from laptops, cars, accommodation and the usual eg flights...
Anyone doing this?

I've been hired for one of the positions in this program. Seems reasonable enough. A lot of work, for sure...but most basic needs taken care of. I am curious about anyone else out there that may be doing this, and their thoughts on the matter...
