Can anyone tell me if it is possible to access the BBC World Service radio broadcasts online in Vietnam?
I know some online broadcasts can't be accessed out of the UK. |

Yes. I'm in Hanoi and I'm able to access the site. |

Yes, I can also confirm ready access, not only on-line by computer, but also via iPad and iPhone apps.
I'm listening to a story about the Bangkok floods on the BBC right now. |

Not sure if it matters, but BBC is on most Vietnamese cable TV systems as well, you can access it day and night. |

If you really like listening to the radio, I recommend getting a wireless radio. I bought a cheap on made by Orange for about 40 when I was last in the UK, and Roberts, Pure and Squeezebox make more expensive models. They look like a normal radio and connect to your WiFi connection. I'm listening to crystal clear BBC Radio 4 as I type... |
