I have a small library that I want to ship to Oman when I move there next year. Any restrictions on types of literature?

I've taken several books through customs and none were seized, including some titles that are banned in other countries like Singapore and KSA.

I think Omanis look more at jacket covers than anything else when they're looking for possible contraband. When in doubt, just remove the jacket cover.

I can't go anywhere without a bag of books. The best thing is to fill a flight case, and take that on the plane as hand luggage, thus avoiding obliterating your checked-in luggage weight allowance. Beyond that, it is a difficult one. Ideally, I'd like to take my whole (small-ish) library with me wherever I go, but this is simply not practical. At long last, I think it may be time to for me to buy an e-reader, as they're pretty good and relatively inexpensive now. At least with a 3G e-reader, you can never run out of reading material!
