Good evening everyone!

I am starting a thread that will enable those that aren't as tech. savvy as some to maintain their computers so that they can:

A - achieve maximum efficiency
B - extent the life of their computer
C - understand the basic functional components.

Please feel free to contribute to this thread; I hope you all find it helpful.

Part 1 - Achieving maximum airflow.

In many situations, a computer will begin to automatically shut off, run slower, and at times, completely shut down. These crazy situations are often a result of overheating parts. The most efficient way to get proper airflow in your computer is shown to you in the following video:

Remember everyone, cold air sinks and warm air rises. If you can get a case that has a fan on top of it as well as the back of it, you are better off. That concludes today's lesson on cooling. Stay tuned for the next installment (by myself or someone else). Smile
