discuss.

I haven't seen my family in over 2 years. I am very excited to get out of here for a month and a half and spend time with my loved ones.

Studying Korean for 10 weeks.

I also haven't seen my family in 5 years. Unfortunately I committed to going in the summer so I'll break my original plan of only once a decade.

For Christmas.. I'll be visiting pretty much my entire extended family. Looking forward to it! Plus I've become an uncle since the last time I was back home!

New Years Eve will be in Las Vegas.

Prior to those two Holidays.. it'll be Dominican Republic and Miami.

We actually have to teach on Monday, December 25.
But January 1 is a school holiday.
Another Chinese Christmas spent in the classroom and then off to Brisbane, unfortunately Sad

I am pretty sure Christmas is a national (red coloured) holiday here in Korea, and you shouldn't be working it. You should be getting overtime atleast. Also, to others, isn't New Years the same? It's a red day on my calendar and therefore I assume it's a holdiay and not just a "school" holiday Smile

You should look into this and tell your boss to go do something.

Over Christmas, I will spend the time praying for a Nor'easter. You know.. the three to four feet of snow kind where you can't even open the doors of your home because you are snowed in. Yeah. A Nor'easter in Korea. I'll be praying for one over Christmas.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas..just like the ones I used to know...

That might make a difference Wink My bad. No harm done. I remember working Christmases (what's the plural of that?) in Japan, though in China my school gave everyone Christmas off.

I'll be in Texas, wont be seeing my family this year just not enough time and too expensive to fly and see them.

Christmas I hope to get in a round of golf before going to the in-laws, NYE I plan to see Robert Earl Keen ("The Road goes on forever and the party never ends")

plus I'll be watching a ton of football and not on my computer at 6AM Very Happy
