I'm sure most of you have noticed that when you are typing in English, a word will suddenly change into Korean. Like yesterday, I was typing out a story with a character named Tia. Every time I typed her name, it would automatically change to 썀. The only way around it was to copy her name and paste it individually each time. When I type a date, like June 19th, the 'th' changes to 소. It's very annoying..
Anyone know how to turn this feature off? It does it on my home computer, as well, in MS Word 2000. Any ideas?

That bugs me to hell in HWP. Sorry can't help you with that. I suspect it is some bug in HWP that causes it.
I like your mp3 of the week. I downloaded it and then went and found the self titled album. Good stuff. Cheers. |

You use HWP? Are you smoking crack?
Anyhow the same shit happens in Word if you have the Korean language spell check pack installed. |

I (have) used it on the school computers (although not on my own computer; I don't have a hangul keyboard). Why the smoking crack comment? Is HWP that bad? |

| I think if you turn of the auto-correct mistakes feature, it might solve your problem. It's just an educated guess, though |

HWP is a strange program. I get the random Korean as well, but I think it's really counter-intuitive. I suppose it's just a getting-used-to-it thing, but I really dislike it.
HWP opens .doc files, so I just use Word and send those to my school, etc. |
