Come to think of it, my bud from The Island is a former E.F.Ler and he works as a substitute teacher from time-to-time (more like every day) for not bad dosh.

In Korea, he was ridiculed as a typical ice hockey player Canuck. Thing is, he made about 6 million every month on a tourist visa and got arrested twice due to forked K-Chicks.

Wow, some guys have all the luck; some guys have nothing nothing but complaints...

Yep, he got out before false accusations of being too playboy-ish nailed his butt down to the local ground.

The Lebanese gangs in Aussie beat him nearly to death with cricket bats in December, 2001, and, then, a freight train in Moncton, N.B., ran him over in early-January, 2003.

Forker lived to toss people around again after only six weeks in hospital.

Those P.E.I.ers...

I'm at a loss to comment on that. Halifax is in NS though.

Yeah, I know. I went to Dullhousie.

Buddy Spud Islander is a supply teacher for the HalifaxSchool Board and used to live in Australia, the place where a Lebanese gang tried to kill him on direct orders of Bellum 99, a Nigerian drug gang, and the C.I.A.

Then, after failing to knock him off Down Under, they got C.N. to try to off him near Moncton, N.B.

Moral of the story: Watch out for the C.I.A., the Nigerians, and Bellum.

Thanks, Dude!

Watch out for C.N.!!
P.S.:. Wanna know the skinny on Florenceville and Centreville's McCain boys? I lived there over the Summer and Fall of '93.

I wonder if those board positions were full time paying jobs....if so then 13 people were being paid to do a job that could be done by one.

No they weren't paid fulltime they each got 8300$ a year as a stipend. Most were teachers from the school board.

My opinion: Good, fire the bastards! Halifax is the worst school district in Canada and I have been a student in 6 different ones in 5 different provinces. When I was a student way back in 1997 they spent all their time debating whether or not to ban: R.L. Stine books, perfume and other "scented products", pagers and cell phones, as well as a myriad of other things. They were and are a joke. 8300$ a year is 8299$ too much for their uselessness. I saw an interview with one of the board members and she was destroyed that students and parents had lost their voice, LOL. Morons, all of them!
