Help! Anyone know any good ESL Christmas games? All my classes are playing games, preparing for the good ole Christmas break. No book, just entertainment but I's like some education thorwn in there. During Halloween games we played volleyball. They loves it but I want something differnet. Suggestions?

Thanks

How old are your students?

What about pin the carrot on the snowman? Make a huge paper or card snowman. Blindfold the kids and they have to put the paper carrot in the right place on the snowman i.e his face.

I suggest just worrying about the fun factor and let the students absorb English naturally (for just the one class, not all).

For middle-school students, I only had a few classes to teach this year so I kept it pretty simple: started out with a Xmas Golden Bell, all questions relevant to Christmas somehow, and then we sang Xmas carols together. It was simple but most students seemed to enjoy it.

Another idea: watch 'The Penguins Xmas Caper'. Its a 12-minute short that's included on 'Madagascar'. Its short enough that you could watch it two times in a class. For a lesson plan, you could make the students answer questions about the movie the 1st time they watch it and give points for correct answers. The second time you watch it you could include Korean subtitles.
