You know what gets me about dudes who go prowling in backwater countries like Cambodia or Thailand or the PI?

They are freaking cheap. That's what burns me the most.

There are plenty of hookers in Korea. So why aren't they seeing Korean prostitutes? You guessed it. They don't want to spend the money.

Instead they'll fly to the Third World to get their jollies. It really is the height of absolute cheapness.

The fact that they will go to this length just to save a few bucks is beyond belief. Not only are they perverts! By golly, they are stingy perverts.

The whole issue really chaps my ass.

Don't get me wrong. I'm no moralist. But if some poor girl is getting paid to get me off, the least I can do is pay her a fair wage.

Those girls need a union.

Different countries, different notions of what right and wrong.

Ah but otis, not only are they generally cheaper in those 3rd world countries, they are also usually nicer to deal with and might give you a full night or longer for less than you'd pay for even an hour with a Korean prostitute who probably resents having to service a foreigner, which many will not. Nothing worse than racist or snobby prostitutes! (I've heard it said it's Korean men who don't want to visit prostitutes who have serviced foreigners, you know, us AIDS carriers. Hence the cold shoulder from many Korean ladies of the night.)

On a side note, I have trouble seeing beauty in good-looking Korean women unless I can actually get to know that she is an OK person. Physical beauty just doesn't cut it for me regarding Korean women, not like it used to when I had no idea how exclusive the society is. Of course I still look and can see a hot one like anyone else, but somehow the fact she is Korean actually puts a damper on it. In many countries I'd just assume a hot girl might also be nice, say 50% of the time. In Korea I think a hot girl might be an OK person 10% of the time. Sad, isn't it? (My thinking I mean) By "OK" I guess I mean not entirely close-minded towards foreigners., and by "exclusive society" I blame the men for most of it. I think the women would be more open, or might like to be, but are under the influence of close-minded male dominance.

Even if those prices are cheap, it might be a decent living wage for that country. Cambodians make about $1 a day, last I heard.

So you would condemn someone for going to a developing country to get a procedure done that they would pay top dollar for at home? That aside, unless one travels for a decent length of time, its usually false economy to consider the services you mention cheaper when you factor in airfare, accomodation and the like. Anyhow, I know you're probably loving the bottle right now and just trolling for content on your site*, but do have a good Xmas, love.

25 dollars in Cambodia? You have never been to Cambodia. The average short-time is 5 dollars. Thailand short-time is 20-25 dollars cheaper for real skank. 25-50 dollars if you want all night depends on the girl and your ability to communicate.

To the OP, I think the real issue is that these people go to these places for the environment. The added benefit would be friendly women that take care of you for a nominal fee.

Personally, I don't understand why these guys don't just go online and meet someone nice and have them be a tour-guide for free.

There are thousands of available women online who are willing to show you around their country. A girlfriend is better but sometimes a lot more expensive and not always worth the extra money.

i'm certainly not here to praise prostitution, but i think most north americanos and people from a handful of other western judeo-christian countries have a highly puritanical and unrealistic view of prostitution, its history and its societal function. it's legal and regulated or at least tolerated nearly the world over except in america where it will get you arrested and there are more aids-ridden crack whores than you can shake a stick at.

like many other things, it all boils down to supply and demand. if a girl in cambodia wants to charge $5 for a shag, then pay her $5 and leave her a tip if you are feeling nice. i think what's more important is treating the person with respect, making sure she is of age and is not being forced into her trade, and being as safe as possible because the hiv is spreading like wildfire, particulary in south east asia now.

i think most people would prefer to be in a healthy, happy, monogamous relationship with an incredibly beautiful girl of their dreams, but life doesn't always give us what we want, when we want it. the important thing is to not give up on real relationships and don't make too much of a habit of paying others for sex because there is risk involved and too much of a good thing can mess a person up over time.
