Who will you be teaching?
Thus far 1 student has signed up for winter classes.Great vote of confidence that!
However,my supervisor is now floating the idea of me teaching the teachers(1 audibly groaned when she heard that) and parents.
Great. Have a bunch of bored housewives come in to ask me personal questions.
I'm thinking I should really refuse the ajumma idea if it happens.Students,sure.Teachers,Ok.Both are in my contract. But ajummas??? |

It can be a great way to make helpful Korean friends. Some of them are also not well taken care of by hubby and very open to flirtatious socialisation. |

I hear you. However I'm at HS so they're likely to be in their mid 40s.The yummy-mummy stage might have passed.
If one stood out, well,I'm married anyways so I can hardly go and get drunk with them for the sake of "social lubrication"
Ah well,as its Bundang perhaps a lot of them would have been overseas before so it'll be more interesting than students who are there cos they don't know what to do with themselves during their holidays. |

Hey, think of the ligth side of things. By the end of it you will have enough kimchi to last you till this time next year. Ajumas are lovely. You can do no wrong with them. |

Or.........it could become an interminable green tea and ddok-athon with toothy old broads in bright designer clothing waffling on how supposedly well-off they are.
A monday morning with a gaggle of ajummas....this could be bad.Very bad. |
