|
|
I just talked to my mother, and she sent a package (it was $94 to have it packed and shipped, and my mom is a pensioner~) AND a card, both of which were returned to her. It was sent to my company, and normally I receive everything that is sent to work. OTOH, my stepmom had sent a package to my apt., and that was returned, then re-sent to my work. The second time around I received it. I don't get it, and I'm really frustrated. I've checked the addresses, and they've been written out correctly. Do you think the customs ppl are being d!cks or something? It's not like they're sending me contraband items. I didn't even get a call from customs or the post office. Anyway, it's happened often enough that I've told my family/friends not to send stuff, which is disappointing, because in the future, it'd be nice for the kids to receive b-day presents, etc...
Anyone else have this problem?
P.P.S. Happy Boxing Day to those of you who received presents.... |

Nope. My sister sent something through Amazon about 3 weeks ago and it hasn't arrived. My grandmother sent me two cards, but only one arrived. My parents sent a package via FedEx and it got here in two days. |

Sorry you did not get your packages. I got mine, and a couple of cards, all sent to the school. I always use the school as not to deal with packages or missing mail. The office ladies are usualy happy to see what wonders I get from home, so do not mind.
If would like a present from home I can send you the ugly beret/scarf/glove set my sister sent me. I would not have minded if it got lost on the way. |

Still waiting for 2 packages this year. My mother was smart and gave me an online gift certificate. Now I have to worry about the shipping. |

Had 4 packages sent over.. received all 4 of them...
Maybe they're only delivering packages to the 'good kids' first...

Got all of mine, mumsie sent gifts for her grandson to be. I receive a lot of packages through the year, mostly library books from my Australian university, and all of them get through no worries. |

I'm 1 for 2 right now also. But I'm still hopeful about the missing package, since it's only been three or four weeks since they sent it. It could still be making its way toward me. |
