It comes from the shared information and knowledge of posters who have actually stood up for their rights against crooked hogwan owners and directors. That's why this site matters and why it makes a positive difference for so many teaching in Korea.

It does make an impact, and hogwan owners/directors don't want us to know how big of an impact it does have. Wink

Teaching in the ghetto for a few years and reading Dave's ESL kind of prepared me for this, but it is still rough when you get low on cash and fighting a battle. If I can give anyone a word of advice who is new save 3 months worth of salary or at least two.
