|
|
I'm having a slight problem with Korean womens morality. What does it entail actually?
Reason I ask? hmm...
My (engaged) supervisor practically threw herself at me at the Xmas party. 1 bottle of soju and she was feeling me up as soon as the other peoples eyes were averted. Thing is..I know her fiance, he's a decent guy and I'm not the type to help someone cheat on a nice and good man.
I happened to stay at school late one evening to finish some prep. It was about 7.30. As I 'm leaving I notice one of the flirtatious married teachers there clandestinely depart with one of the other married teachers. They looked quite intimate I have to say...He has a wife & 2 kids.
And then we have another one. .. She welcomed me like a rock star when I first got here, over drinks: the full on temptress.. However I don't particularly want to indulge in someone who is married to someone else. I notice she gives the same reception to every new foreign teacher that has stepped off the plane so far. |

Yup....cheating here is like drinking water when thirsty - normal and natural.
In Korea, I work hard for this 2+ years. Work a lot. And in my free time after the work and weekends, I am dating girls. That is my only hobby/activity in my free time.
I have yet to meet an honest one. |

Can you envision marrying a Korean?
The impression I've had so far..is..a man would have to be a fool to trust these women with his car keys, let alone his life. |

I could if I met a KA girl. Or a K girl with permanent residency if we met in US (so she is not with me because of papers). But you summed it up nicely! Job well done! |

Another student I have in my adult class. Flirty in class. I happened to meet her in the street with hubby. She behaved like a different person entirely, presumably because hubby was looking on.. I almost thought I was talking to a different person.
Some of them should get oscars for their sheer acting abilities. They can change their demeanour instantly depending on the situation. |

You think all Korean women lie. And this isn't the case, or at least no more so than any other group of people I've met. So yeah, I guess you must be harboring some kind of anger towards them. Does it make you feel good to sleep with people you don't like or respect? Ah, don't answer that. |

OP- get a couple drinks in almost ANY single or married woman and, well- YOU KNOW.
You did go to college, right? Even those who flunked out of Canadian Community College probably picked up that "lesson." |

Well, I said I didn't find/meet one that does not. I can't say that all of them do lie. However, in Seoul its very easy for people in their 20s to date around many people and nobody knows about it - city is big. I guess smaller towns are different.
Edit: I never said I didn't like them phsically...and I do respect them however we were talking about morality and trust.
I can talk normally and respectfully to most girls but won't bring them home to parents. Its opposite. |

well, the specific semantics of it aren't important. the point is you made this amazingly harsh statement about Korean women. I dunno, maybe i'm jumping the gun in attacking you. Maybe your threshold for honesty is just high. Or maybe you don't find lack of honesty to be a bad thing. Or maybe I'm conflating your thoughts with the countless threads on this board that feature (a) boasts of how many Korean women one has dated right alongside (b) condemnations of korean women's every characteristic. I have to wonder, why are so many people sleeping with/dating people they seemingly don't like to be around or have any respect for? and yeah, i know the answer, but it's a bit sad, right? |

Well, I work 70+ hours a week and many days I am on a business trip. I wanted to find a fine reliable honest woman that will have genuine feelings for me and won't shop around when I am not around, but I couldn't
Why I sleep with them? I am a man and have some needs. My option is to be at home and watch TV or date and score. Which one would most men choose if given the choice? |

I'm guessing because a lot of those women are really, really hot?
Heck, why do some of the smartest women not only sleep with, but often even fall in love with and marry utter, no-count scoundrels? |

I totally trust my g/f but she's not from Seoul. Even when I went back stateside for a coupla months, it wasn't an issue. I'm not the jealous type and you could say I'm being naive but I just see 100% commitment in her eyes. Can't say I'm not a little jealous of European dude over hear racking up the notches on the headboard though.
Not from Seoul = Honest Girl that's my hypothesis. |
