Does anybody have the contact details for any goshiwon?

I was PM'd by another poster saying that yet another poster knew of one where they spoke English (would make booking easier)

Anywhere close to a subway but preferably near a central location.

Any other options of places to stay for a month?

Cab I stay in a love-hotel for a month or is that going to be seriously expensive? |

				My mistake.

I didn't search properly before hand.

What are the occupancy rates like?

I don't fancy lugging a suitcase around with me from place to place getting depserate and crying in the street. |

				| They always seem to have somebody leaving in the next few days. It's best to email them a few days ahead of time. Most of them will let you reserve a room for a really small price, some 20,000 won or so that comes out of the first month's rent, just to let them know that you're serious. |

				Goshiwon Wiki is really good

It could do with sub notes saying which ones speak English

The myhomelivingtel looks really nice but no English on the website. |

Yeah, that would be good but I/we haven't phoned them to check, and they always switch staff too so somebody who spoke English well might be gone a few weeks later if he gets a better job. One that I stayed at started out with a guy in his 20s but the next month when I moved out there was an ajumma running the place.

Coco livingtel is also really good but it's very expensive and actually couldn't really be called a goshiwon. More like a one-room. No deposit though, so not quite an officetel either.

Problem is I'm still in Thailand.

I suppose I will have to stay in a hotel for a few nights.

Maybe my idea of catching an early morning flight to Seoul then finding a goshiwon in the afternoon are a bit far fetched. |

Not really. Choose a location in the wiki article where you want to get a goshiwon and make plans to be there that day. Try to see how far your English gets you and barring that, you can have the clerk call up free translators to help seal the deal:
