My all-time favorite girl's name is Zoe (life); my second favorite is Sophia/Sophie (wisdom).
I have seven neices and no nephews (in descending order of age): April, Brandy, Brittany, Kaitlin, Victoria, Keirha and Elizabeth. My Brothers have a strong inclination for stripper names, apparently.
My best friend has three daughters and no sons: Celeste, Bianca, and Luna. His wife is Uruguayan. I was with them on the Spanish colour names, but then they broke the theme with the last kid. The last one was a bit out there. Thank God she has a normal middle name (Elizabeth). |

I hated my name growing up. I was in a sea of Amy's, Sarah's, Jennifer's and Patricia's. It was not until I was much older that I appreciated my name--Veronica--
As for girls names I like Bailey--my daughters name--Chloe, Ella, Lilly, and my sister's name Yvonne. |

I tend to favour traditional English names that can be shortened to something lovely like Elizabeth (which can be shortened to the lovely Beth) and Victoria (Vicky).
But overall I really like Italian names for girls because they sound so girly....like Rosa (as I said) and Sonia (even though the latter is as common as filth). |

I love the sound of Gemma, Freya, Grace and Sophie.
I also like the name Charlie for a girl. I too have a unisex sounding name (Peta) and when I was growing up, having a 'boy's name' meant I also had 'boy's germs' It is only now being grown up that I appreciate having something a little different. |

I like the Julie for how it sounds in French...
(Danielle for the same reason and could be shortened to "Danny" if it suits her personality...)

That's a breeze:
Candy, Bambi, Bunny, Kitty, Desiree, Scarlet, and Natasha. Maybe.
But seriously,
Erin, Lily, Maria, ...
WORST NAMES:
Blanche, Doris (sounds dumb), Doreen (ditto), Donna, Dodie, most D's,
Agnes, Gertrude, Marge, (you get the idea)
TIRED NAMES
Jessica, Brittany, Ashley (anything sounding California bimbo) |

Yea!!! My middle name is April. Both of my parents were born in April, so that's how I got my name. My parents almost gave me Carmen for my first name, but instead gave me my Mom's middle name, which is fine, but Carmen would have been unique.
