It is, but I agree with the other poster who noted there's a steep learning curve, the company is known for rushing out buggy product (with hardware problems, to boot), and customer support sucks.

Yeah. I get the feeling that Digital-cube is run by geeks who make products for geeks. I think you have to be computer savvy to set-up an i-station product. Although, as I said, mine did work out of the box. But I had to use the website to get the GPS data and dictionary data. That would have been very hard without my Korean wife. And registering and stuff. Not easy.

I'd agree that i-Station need to streamline their product support. But, if you go to any A/S center they will do any set-up tasks you ask. Usually for free.

well i can login now
so its time for me to register and i guess buy qtopia the full version
as well eamo have you ever figure out the dictionary?

No. I haven't really tried to work that out yet. I'm guessing you have to download the dictionary data from the website. I'll post here when I find out how to do it.

No. I haven't really tried to work that out yet. I'm guessing you have to download the dictionary data from the website. I'll post here when I find out how to do it.


The dictionary is a separate download that can be found in the section with the navi, firmware, and BIOS updates.
