This one has me bugged.

I cannot play most if not all of the FLAC files from the internet (Taylor Hicks is the only thing that works). I've tried VLC, Winamp with the FLAC plugin. Nothing works. I get the same error "Error while processing metadata (FLAC_FILE_DECODER_SEEKABLE_STREAM_DECODER_ERROR).

Try Foobar2000

There is not much it wont play, ad IIRC, it will fix may corrupted files..

convert to another format

Audacity works pretty well. It'll play FLAC with no problems. From there you can convert it to another format if you want. I think you need a plug-in if you want to make mp3s but both that and the program are free. It can record too which is nice for...well, stuff you want to record (I sometimes record cartalk from the realmedia source for portability).

I think there were some FLAC files that were corrupted since I tried every player out there.
