| When we come on here and ask stupid questions, it is not because we are too lazy or don't have the aptitude to look something up on our computers. We are trying to get our foot in the ESL Cafe door. We are unsure how to start so we ask stupid questions that possibly have equally stupid answers. Just as in any other social situation, we want you to like us and accept us. And we also know that you have precious information that you will hopefully share with us to make our transition just a little easier. So when you open that new "newbie post" and it is as dumb as dirt, be just a little kinder and remember that you were once one of us. And for those that have already shown me those kindnesses, thank you so much!!! |
