Has anyone heard of any special events going on in Hongdae this New Years? I imagine some bars will have some sort of things planned but I'm having trouble finding info.

Try Club FF in Hongdae. They are having some kind of party with a mix of foreign and korean bamds playing. 25,000won for all you can drink!!!!

At FF all you can drink beer and cocktails.

Some of the bands are indie rock

If you like indie music anything from Joy Division to the Killers it's not techno or hip hop well it can be but the DJ I like just plays indie stuff.
You can make requests it's a fun place!!!!!!!!!!

Ska bar plays a random mix and is fun too!

THere are a lot of hip hop and techno type clubs in Hongdae.

THere's also a vegan ice cream cafe (Pure Decadence) next to the park for your convenience.
