|
|
I have been studying with two Korean women from Seoul who are in the US to get Masters degrees. One of them mentioned that I should bring small items so that I can give them to my Korean friends. I assume this is a custom in Korea but I am a little confused. What am I supposed to give people? And how long do I have to know someone before I am expected to follow this custom? An hour? A day? A week? I don't have a problem adjusting to the customs of a new country but I am a little confused about this one. |

I wouldn't worry about presents for your "friends" so much but perhaps something for your boss, maybe something representative of your home country or city. |
