Pate - Paste made from organ meat

de Campagne - From the countryside



It's a kind of low rent pate. If you have some, just slice it or spread it (depending on its consistency) onto a good crusty bread and make sandwiches with it. It wouldn't hurt to have a nice red wine to wash it down with.

PS. It's cat and dog food that smell like pate since they are low grade versions of it.
