I am in DESPERATE need of new clothes (men's) and wherever I go - it looks good but there is not my size....I ain't fat just larger than Korean man, by height, frame and even weight. I went to Korean brand stores (Giordano, etc) - no sizes, department store - Shinsege - no sizes and inflated prices.
In Itaewon its all hip-hop or some freaky style.
Where do you guys shop for clothes to be like Banana Republic, Kenneth Cole, DKNY ? Something you can wear for work and later for a date to some nice restaurant?
(I mentioned those brands for looks, not prices)
Any info is appreciated! |

I know what I should buy - but I can't go to USA every 1 year with an empty suitcase to do shopping. Things wear out over the months. Continous replenishment of clothes is necesary - that way you get different styles as well, than in one big 1-day shopping event.

| Hamilton shirts in Itaewon are made to measure 32 - 38 $'s per shirt. Don't forget to ask for extra long tails and fronts! Also, there are many places that sell x and xxl sweaters on the second floor of many shops along the street. I just got 5 shirts made and am well happy w/ them 100% cotton pinpoint oxford button down w/ "spliff" monogram on the right side cuff. Also, if you have a designer thingy you want sewed on the front, no problem...I have a bong on mine! |

i recommend ziozia, which is on the main strip in gangam halfway to the kyobo bookstore but on the other side of the street.
similar to banana republic or dkny style, but good prices.
that area is good in general. you'll also find a giordano, but that's just korea's version of the gap. meh.
i've never had much luck in the huge dept stores, tho sometimes they lay out some quite nice sale items.

Yeah, but Giordano has pants size 34 as the largest. I vary between 36-38 depending on the season 
Other items are also too small.
Ziozia has things for western bodies or?
P.S Asian girls complained when living in US they couldn't find things that fit, especially in the ass area since bodies (asses) are different. So I think even though its a brand name, they cut it different for different markets. |

not really off topic but i just noticed that koreans are not really into american brands, ie dkny, kenneth cole, gap, banana republic...
i'm asian but i love shopping in the US... specially at the outlet malls
anyway, you can also check dnshop for big sized korean clothes...

| I would go to Lotte. By bf is over 6 ft. has a little extra to love and he has shopped there in the past without issue. Some of the sections are expensive but others aren't and he usually finds his sizes. He's gotten shirts and pants there and not spent more than 40,000 won per item. |

It would cost $100-$200 to send a package to Korea. They would be very expensive cookies and pants. |
