|
|
Has anyone seen this media rampage The Donald has been on the past couple weeks? My brother told me about it today so I checked Youtube, and there are so many clips. Here's the story:
Donald Trump owns the Miss USA competition. The 2006 winner was revealed to have drug and alcohol problems, and it was discussed that she should have her title revoked. Trump gave her a second chance, and let her go into rehab. So on The View, the show that Rosie O'donel is now on, she decided to tear into Trump a bit because of that decision. Not sure why, because I think it was a fair call.
Anyway, Donald responded in the worst (for her) imaginable way. He has been going on a blitzkrieg through the US media outlets -- major programs like Larry King Live and Anderson Cooper -- tearing Rosie to shreds. It's fackin hilarious, especially if you are like me and detest Rosie as much as Trump apparently does.
The greatest thing is he just does not hold anything back. Everything he says is absolutely uncouth, and would wither most people into a shivering puddle of tears. His justificiation? 'I'm not a politician.' Damn right.
Check it out.
The first clip shows the initial remark from Rosie, and Donald's initial incindiary response (and check out how gay the anchorman at the end of the clip is): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvla5XjDQc0
This one is EIGHT MINUTES of Trump ripping on Rosie. Ostensibly it's an interview, but he completely dominates every aspect of the conversation. You can see one of the anchors desperately scrambling to end the session but Trump won't allow it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrPaUjjmrVo
(It's a long clip, but don't miss the segment beginning at 7:15 where he starts talking about clams. Holll-e cow, can't believe he says that on a morning talk show.)
Anyway if you want to see more you can search You Tube. Not sure if Rosie ever retaliated, but Trump went on at least five different shows about this, probably more. |

Q - you would not believe all of the hubbub that has been going on about this. And it's really hilarious!! Did you read the poem that Rosie posted on her site about "The Donald"? He was, of course, pissed about that too!! |

People famous for being famous, OKA celebrities, once again prove there is no such thing as bad publicity. |

I would hardly call Trump a has-been. His casinos are having some difficulty, but his name attached to Condo developers alone made him a half billion last year. The apprentice is still a great show, too.
Rosie on the other hand, is off the charts disgusting. What a fat pig she is. I agree 100% with the Donald. He's a New Yorker, whaddayagonnado? |

Ok...I'll bite...
i really don't have any opinion on either of them BUT I would have to say that if I had to vote on who is the most digusting, Mr. Trump would win hands down...He epitomises the greedy, capitalistic, American/Western ideal of success
why is rosie "a fat pig" exactly...
please explain... |

Yeah, good stuff Q. Saw the whole shower on CNN last Friday morning.
I too don't like either party. Trump's extreme wealth combined with extreme arrogance just doesn't go down well. If you're that rich, you've gotta be a nice guy and only ever say nice things (Branson, Gates).....those are the rules.
Mind you, it's always an absolute pleasure to watch someone like ROD take such a pounding. Keep the insults coming, Don......GO DONALD! GO DONALD! |

He's a pretty nice guy a lot of the times. Like the example given in this story where he gave that Miss USA lady a second chance without revoking her title. A lot of people wanted to strip her of it for having a substance abuse problem.
But when someone challenges him, they get molten lava poured on their head. That's kinda part of what made him famous, that carefree, egotistical style he fronts in public. |

How did Rosie O' Donnell become famous? Is she funny or is it just her big mouth? I think some mistakes were made, allowing her on TV. |

But it did make for some quite entertaining television. I don't particularly like her...but she is funny. And her spoof of "The Donald" was hilarious!! |
