I've used NetKorea. They were fine. No problems to speak of... the guy is quite experienced and does quite a lot of placements as far as I know.

I almost got a job through them. They know how to get you set up with a public school and I almost did. I signed the contract and everything. But I had to bail out because of a family emergency and I ended up staying in Canada. I lost out on my airplane ticket and because the fine people at NETKOREA were so understanding they kept all of my degrees, certifications, and original letters of reference.

Wow...thanks NETKOREA I love you.

They are not the worst of the lot but what they want is warm bodies. They tell people that "oh yes the city is only 20 minutes from Seoul" when in actuallity it is 30 minutes by bus that will take you to the subway that will get you to Seoul. If you are social person you probably don't want to be in the hinter lands!

ASK VERY SPECIFIC QUESTIONS. Ask about accomodations. Ask about vacations. Ask about pay. Ask about what is included in the accomodations. ASK ABOUT PAY AND WHAT MIGHT BE DEDUCTED. Ask about medical. Ask about if Visa run is paid for. (this is becoming a problem) If they recommend a certain city post it here more than likely someone here can give you the info about the area.

ASK ASK ASK. Don't be shy about asking questions. These guys will can be snake oil salesmen.

I got my current job through them. They were fine.

I will be using them again along with every other recruiter I can find when I next look for a job.

they do tell some tiny white lies. But they're still among the best recruiters.

I've used them and haven't had the bad experiences that some have pointed out. I decided to go with them because they didn't lie to me. They weren't very professional and were disorganized but they didn't lie and for me that was the main thing. There is no such thing as the perfect recruiter, it is always more beneficial to get a contract by yourself. But if I had to choose a recruiter to get a job with from overseas I would use them.
