Rocky's spirit doesn't grow old, and - like George Foreman - inspires young and old alike with his courage and affability.

In addition to battling Antonio Tarver (who reigned as world light heavyweight champ when the movie was made...) Stallone's faithful character also - at least to a token degree - takes on social issues like racism, poverty, and corporate dehuminization.

The HBO fight crew, headed by Jim Lampley, and a ringside cameo by Mike Tyson add touches of authenticity; and the controversial "computer superfight" angle (hearkening back to Rocky Marciano "beating" Muhammad Ali ...) helps to credibly advance the plot...

He looked to be in pretty damn good shape for being 60 or so. The training sequence was to short. I was hoping it would be a bit longer. Still the movie had an amazing ending. The ending really went over well for me.

For great training scenes you gotta like "Kickboxer" and "Hard to Kill" ...

I bought the DVD copy in Itaewon and saw it on a big screen in a hotel room with an overhead projector (while eating a pizza...)

I used Bittorrent, but I've also got azeureus running; it uses far less processing speed and gets the most of out each seed.

The movie was good, but damn Stallone's face was distracting. Did he have failed cosmetic surgery on his eyes or something...? Made me feel old seeing how much the man has aged.

It went even better in Rocky. It even had the "new" Adrian running to the ring and everything.
