|
|
My Bank, Woori Bank, charged me 25,000 won to send home just under 4,000,000 won.
Can anyone tell me if there are banks charging less, or if there are differing charges for differing amounts? |

Different banks in Korea charge different amounts for wire transfers.
As well, the charges levied also change with the amounts that you send. The more you send, the more they charge.
A tip for sending money to Canada: Open a Scotiabank account as they are the only bank of the major Canadian banks that doesn't charge an incoming service fee (as far as I know-I have sent to three others and they all charged). |
