More Wives Beat Husbands
The number of husbands beaten by their wives is increasing as domestic violence increases in general. The men's counseling service Men Hotline Kwanju branch says the number of cases of men being beaten by their spouses is increasing, but men are reluctant to show their scars.
According to the hotline, some women threw chairs, vacuum cleaners or even knives. In some cases, men were beaten with golf clubs. However, many male victims are reluctant to report their injuries because they do not want to show their weakness. Also, the belief that men are the wrongdoers and women are the victims of domestic violence is widespread. The police estimated that a mere 3 percent of all cases are reported.

| I can tell you I've never hit my wife before. If I did, it's a permanent line we'd cross. She however has hit me on at least three occasions. I let it slide. Why? Because it doesn't threaten me. |

Look at my cousin from P.E.I.: His oft-nutsoid thing tried to stab me at their apart-uh in back of Outback Steakhouse-uh in I'taewon in early July, 2005. She also threw soju bottles and shoes at me on several other occasions. This stuff started going down after asking me to accept 10k (U.S.) to marry her for a U.S. Passport - her hubby at her side accepting her ridicule.
What a number, eh?!
Ask the staff at Polly's Kettle, Club DeBut, Seoul Pub, and Nashville Restaurant in The 'Won about this 52 year old ex-black marketeer from In'cheon City: She's attacked my cuz in each place of business.
They are residing together at Eglington and Yonge Streets in Toronna, Can. Give 'em six months: She'll have his bank and the condo!
God help him, eh.

Therein lies the problem. If she is known at any of those venues she is most likely not worth knowing in the first place. |

I would let it slide ONCE, and let her know it is unacceptable. If she finds me hitting her is a line not to be crossed, then her hitting me is the same line. Do it again, and you may as well sign the divorce papers on the spot.
I won't be one of those guys who lets the wife escalate things because "she doesn't threaten me", and before long I'm one of those abused husbands who won't fight back.
Nope. Won't happen. She gets one free shot. The second one she pays for with the marriage. |

| It's the dirtiest little secret out there. But if you just believed what Oprah had to say, than men are the only ones being abused. |

make your point (though the second one seems like a response to what happened with Lee Min-Young, and the way the title is worded implies that this is more common, or at least more severe, than male on female violence, which is not really believable), but how does

prove anything. Those articles even mentioned men hording money, just not as well as their wives.
Seriously, you should choose articles a little more related to your main point when trying to say something. |

His wife was arrested for spousal abuse back in the late 80s.He gave an interview to 20/20 or 60 Minutes back in the 90s about it.
It was part of the reason he kinda disappeared from view for a while.A shame,as seeing him getting wiped out by an alien backing dancer at the LA Olympics Closing Ceremony was one of the highlights of that decade for me. |

this is just an opinion ... from what I see/sense, even though this is a male dominated society - it's true what they say about the man being the head of the family, but the women (being the neck) controls them
so, more wife beating up their hubbie is likely true
from my experience, the (older) women were more aggressive in the subway than the men |

Seriously she couldn't hurt me if she tried. If she went at me with a frying pan and a butcher knife, I'm fairly confident I could disarm her. One of the times she hit me, I pushed her down. And her sister and parents took that exact instant to run in. To them, it probably looked like I punched her and knocked her down. I consider myself lucky I got through that one.
To be honest, if she hits me, it means I automatically win the argument, so things get easier for me. |
