Hello people,
I work in a really small town called Hapdeok (합덕), near Dangjin. I don't really like it here. Its far too small and I don't have a single foreign friend. In fact i don't really have any Korean friends here either:(
Well, to the point, I moved here a couple months ago and am looking for weekend Korean classes. I was hoping someone might know a place nearby (maybe Cheonan)?
Thanks

I lived in Chungnam for 2 years so I know the drill. I don't know where any lessons are, but I do know a good way to find people to help you (and to make friends!) Just post signs offering "English exchange!" I spend 30-45 minutes each time learning Korean, and then I help them with English. It's win-win and 100% legal since they're not paying you for the English. Lots of Koreans would love to do it.
There's a school in Dangjin (Shinsung College), so I guarantee some students would email or call you about doing that.
Good luck! |
