I'm itching to sign a public school contract, but there is a worrisome clause that doesn't get specific about my overtime rate. Instead, it says I will be paid at the same rate as Korean co-teachers.

"Employee shall be entitled to a supplementary class instruction pay at the rate of applicable to Korean teachers for any supplementary class instruction hours."

I also must teach 2 hours per week at a Youth Center for additional hourly pay, but it doesn't state what the hourly rate is.

Don't know, actually, but, I would imagine hat's it's around 15,000 or a little less. Could be way off, though.. I get 22,000 (per 40 min session) because I told them I wouldn't accept less, the original contract said 20,000, it's the only thing I negotiated on.
