been in korea just over 4 weeks now.
my boyfriend & were approached by a man in town today asking if we would be interested in doing pronunciation lessons on w.e's - he said he worked at university & had other foreign teachers working there too.
we didn't give him any of our details, but accepted his number.
just wondered how many of you out there do extra work & is it risky?
i've heard horror stories of people being framed by immigration, but am also interested in earning a bit of extra cash.
any advice would be appreciated. |

| If you're doing privates, then immi wouldn't be "framing" you. |

Go with your gut feeling...
If it feels suss, and looks suss then don't do it...
personally i wouldn't do it with somebody I didn't know or had some background too.... |

cheers, i've had a read through some other posts (probably should have done that before posting!) and i think i'll avoid it. the risk is too great & spare time is indeed precious.
think the money tempted me cos i've had a tight first month, payday can't come quick enough. |
