| I am living in the Hongdae area and have been looking all over for a place to replace the battery of my watch. Please help! |

Pretty much any watch shop in Korea can replace a battery, as long as it isn't a designer watch with warranty restrictions or a special way to open the case. If you don't fall into the latter category of watch owners, just walk into store and get a new battery installed. |

| I live in a tiny village here that has about 3 jewelery stores on the main street. Just walked in Handed them my watch and they replaced the battery for 3000won |

Same. I handed him the watch, pointed to the unmoving hands, and it was all done within five minutes. |

I replaced my battery in Hyundai Department store in Sinchon which is close to your place in Hongdae.
I have Longines brand, so I have replaced it at the watch shop selling brand names on the top floor. It was 10,000 won. Took 10 minutes.
First floor has cheapo watches and they do not want to deal with Longines. |
