Has anyone seen this piece of crap?

I heard a few good things about it and happened to see it in the DVD shop this weekend. On the strength of rumor, I bought the first season, brought it home and have watched the first 4 episodes so far and am finding it increasingly hard to restrain myself from throwing the DVD, the DVD player and the TV off my 5th floor balcony. I feel cheated.

Just so you know why I feel cheated:

a) The two main characters are brothers who just happen to have different names.

b) One of them is framed for killing the VP's brother

c) He's sentenced to die and put in a prison which just happened to be designed (or redecorated) by his architectural engineer brother. (This is in Illinois where capital punishment is on hold till it gets straightened out--the last I heard.)

d) Who framed the bad brother? The Secret Service, that's who. They make no bones about killing witnesses.

e) To save the bad brother the good brother decides to get himself incarcerated in the same prison so he can break him out.

f) In prison, the soon-to-be executed bad brother gets out of his cell every day to paint the halls, where he can talk to his good brother. Sometimes he's kept separate, but other times he's just one of the gang.

g) The good brother's defense lawyer is the ex-girlfriend of the bad brother. That happens all the time. I know lawyers have ethics problems, but this coincidence is one too many.

Question: Is it possible to sue Fox Network for being insulting to one's intelligence?

Perhaps you would be best served browsing the non-fiction isle? I recommend Deadwood if you are looking for "realistic fiction." Perhaps the best historically-based fiction ever made.
The show "24's" timeline makes that show even sillier than PrisonBreak, IMO. Terrorist bombings and Presidential kidnappings, and three "hours" later, the President is doing desk paperwork.

Agreed, unfortuantly I got told that by someone who track record on such things was spotty so I went and locked up some deadwood history. Kinda a crappy way to get your spoilers....

UGH! I was watching in on the internet earlier this month and managed to get to episode 12. The show sucks terribly. I agree that the breakout should have happened in the first season. I can't deal with watching anymore of it. The younger brother's acting is unbearable to deal with.

Me and my friends used to watch the show and be astounded at the amount of 'yet another plot twist' or 'how convenient' moments. We almost made it into a drinking game, but we realised we'd be out cold by episode 6.

I've not seen anything of the second season, but my educated guess is that they'll have forgotten something inside the prison (like a toothbrush) therefore having to break back in, and out again, thus making season two Prison Break In and Out (possibly with a bit of shake it all about)
