The SEC is just a different class of football.
LSU could have kicked the crap out of Ohio State or Michigan, too.
I went to John Ehret down in Louisiana.
Pro ball players from the area:
Peyton Manning.
Eli Manning.
Marshall Faulk.
Reggie Wayne.
Kordell Stewart.
Louis Lipps.
Ed Reid.
The list goes on and on.
Sorry, Big 10. You Yankee boys are overrated. |

One more thing.
I used to play safety and return punts.
Returning punts is the scariest thing a man can do in this life. I still have nightmares. |

I was a first-string offensive tackle, second-string defensive end, and the third string quarterback because I could throw the football (and high school discus) farther than anyone (thanks to my dad's ingenious home gym weights he designed to increase shoulder strength).
Our starting quarterback was an all-around athlete who loved to run, our backup qb was our starting running back and so whenever I started (about two snaps every third game) the opposition knew we were going for the long bomb, meaning I faced a blitz every friggin' time!
Talk about nightmares! Sitting duck!
But yeah otis, I guess returning punts must've been something. I sure loved blocking and tackling on punt returns. Gawd that was fun!

You must be from Europe or some other pooftah continent.
You stare down a punt under the lights and tell me it won't put the fear of God into you. |

It's a poster of a local seafood festival. You catch your own fish, clean it, cook and eat it.

| My avatar is deceptively tough. And, not only did I predict that the Gators would win, but I once blocked two punts in a high school game (reducing the prospect of scary punt returns...) |

and my daddy can beat up your daddy. The SEC is good, but they aren't amazing. This is the same talk I heard about people with USC the past few years.
Florida got lucky, look at the teams they played and how they did overall.
Dollar bet says they aren't even top 25 at the end of next season.
Tim, yeah He-blows. |
