|
|
According to a friend of mine- Korean men and women rarely use any kind of contraception. No pills, and especially NO CONDOMS. My friend was told about this by one of her good Korean friends. Apparently Korean men rarely use condoms in the brothels that they frequent. As a result- there is a surging STD trend among Korean men and women that isn't accurately reported by their disease control institutions. (On a side note- I also heard that they grossly underestimate the high suicide rate in Korea as well. It's presumably one of the highest in the world- but the Korean govt. and other institutions try to gloss this over to save face.)
Do any of you know if this is indeed true????? Just curious. |

There's so much B.S. produced in this country that you could fill at least a few 500 page volumes with it.
For example; there's a thriving prostitution industry in this country with brothels open everywhere at 2 in the morning. I reckon it's easier to get sex at 2 am than a can of cola. Yet, bringing adult dvds into the country is strictly forbidden.
They pretend to be a clean society morally, but we know better than that.
I'd like to know the official stats on the number of brothels in this country. Must be staggering. |

| Well- considering the Korean women who have reported these rumors are nurses- I'm given to believing their "stats." If they tell me that they're constantly seeing new chlamydia infested vaginas from married women- I couldn't really argue with that could I???? |

Oh man, this is really sad but I read somewhere that HIV was rising fastest in Older men and women. IT was like a 30% jump or something. Basically, what you've got happening is business men going to Thailand and the Phillipines and literally demanding to have sex with underage girls with no condom and using drugs. It's a really...really screwed up, bad combo. And of course these guys come back and shag their wives or some of the less informed brothel workers. |

Honestly - use condoms always. K-girls will sometimes just put it in if you didn't already and then its too late. I was suprized like that a few times, luckily I am OK. Now I am extra careful and aware what is happening at every instant.
P.S When you ask them why - they say they like it better like that. Khm...s e x with no condom = lets go first for a complete STD screening and then I am OK |

Why wouldn't you incluse that in your initial post?
I'm not saying that I doubt it, but if you're up for a serious discussion, "a friend of a friend" is hardly the way to start it. |

| I have not been to the brothels here, but I know someone well who frequents them, and he said the first thing they do is put the condom on you. Although maybe that's just for foreigners who knows. |
