So, I was in Yongsan tonight, taking pictures of the redlight district, and saw one place that had some semi-nudie posters outside. Thought it was strange, went in, and there's a guy behind a partition who demands 5k won. It's just $5, so I give it to him, and go downstairs.
Lo and behold...it's a porno theater. I walk in and they're showing the soft-core korean stuff, and I lose interest. Thinking that's all there is, I walk out, and that's when I saw it folks. There's another room with a few tv's and computers, and I swear to god they were showing german bestiality porn. They were doing something with a dog, and I'm glad I only caught the end of that...scene.
So, point is, I had no clue these existed here. I really, really love finding Korea's dirty laundry. |

| Umm, what's the big news. They have them in the States and Canada. I hardly call it dirty laundry. Porn is ubiquitous. What I'd call dirty laundry is the things that go on in some of the business clubs or the sex shows they have near some of the army bases. |

No...for an American or Canadian it is not dirty laundry, and is pretty much old hat like you said. The deal is that this is Korea...land of the pure, gentle Korean man.
To me, and maybe this is just different experiences, the sex shows and business clubs are old hat. If you can read Korean, they're all over the place. The porn theater is new one, and the fact that they were showing some really fukked up stuff is even more hilarious. |

Uh, They don't have them in my part of Canada, Alberta. Maybe them dirty Quebecois though 
We are however, renowned in certain parts for our Peeler Bars, of which we have several. They distinguish themselves from their American Counterparts due to not having to wear pasties or bottoms. That's right Yanks, our peelers go TOTALLY BUCK!  (They also offer billiards, VLT's and buffets if your interested). Late. |

Tons of porno places on St. Catherines in Montreal and I've seen them in Toronto, can't remember where exactly but in the down town.
I've never heard anyone refer to a korean man as gentle. Even korean guys love to talk how much fun they like to have out on the town. Sex is every where if you are so inclined to look.
Even in Redneck Alberta! They have porno rental places(check out 17th ave in Calgary) in Alberta that specialize in porn movies only. They even have rooms in the back where they play movies if you don't want to take them off premises. |

I thought you meant theaters. We have porn rental places on every corner just about, and liquor stores, and pawn shops, and cheque cashing places. But, we don't have porn theaters in Alberta. Not that I've seen anyway.

Actually, nudity laws differ from state to state and city to city. We just don't let Canadians see the seedier side. We wouldn't want to lose your respect.
Edit: seattlespew beat me to it by 1 minute. But it's not just state by state, but city by city as well. |
