Is the funny part supposed to be that she's saying "I'm a beautiful gull"? |

Ah, she's the celeb who always has sad, weepy, soul-deadened eyes.
The punch line is funny and apt given the transformation she too will eventually make from faux-ho to ajumma. |

If I'm not mistaken that is Son Ye-jin
A definite looker but from what I've heard a real biotch
If you can't get enough of her be sure to check her out in:
The Classic
A Moment to Remember
Art of Seduction
April Snow
Lover's Concerto |

Korean women are realising that they have a higher value than they are granted in korea. All it takes is a plane ride out of seoul and they soon wake up to the fact that they are sh*t hot!!
When will the day arrive that ajosshi is no longer needed? |

That was pretty funny
But that's definitely not Son Ye-Jin from the Classic. I might be getting the names mixed up but that girl wasn't the girl in The Classic. |

I was about ready to vomit until I saw the end of it. But it saddens me that so much of a woman's worth here seems to be placed on a narrow definition of beauty. |

<-- Hopeless. Slobbering
You know, one of the things I thought I would have adjusted to, acclimated myself to after so many years living in this country, is how attractive the women are. Okay, okay, "how attractive I personally consider the women to be". Maybe it would take a long time, but eventually I'd get used to it and this dizzying "kid in a candyshop on heroin" effect would some day end. But it just has not happened. I'm knocked out by them daily. Superficial, surface-level, crass, all the rest. But it happens. And that's in gangbuk!! I know from experience that I COULD NOT live & work in Gangnam and also maintain willpower, steely composure, self-control... marbles.
Another thing I thought might change is the way the local menfolk observe the women. That hasn't changed much either. I'll be in someone's car, a taxi, whatever, and some devastating beauty will walk by. I'll try not to be obvious as my eyes just drink her in, while the Korean male driver... plays with the radio, looks in the mirror, yaks on his mobile, or picks his nose.

The clothes and make up don't hurt the appearance either. |
